About this event
Digital Animation teams produce a short animated video (typically 2-4 minutes) on a topic announced annually. Teams are judged on animation quality, storytelling, character design, audio, and adherence to the prompt. The topic changes each year, but the craft expectations are constant: solid storyboarding, clean animation principles, thoughtful sound design, and professional export. Adobe Animate, Blender, After Effects, and Toon Boom Harmony are all commonly used.
